If there’s one thing in life that is constant, it’s the fact that everyone is where they are meant to be.
Becoming a leadership coach wasn’t something I decided to do overnight, but has always felt like a calling. It was in a past role at a startup where I experienced a radical mindset shift.
The role was chaotic, the team was brand new and there was something missing. It was not a place that inspired trust or openness nor was there clear strategy. The negativity I faced each day spun me into a depression and took me out of being who I am. I lost my optimism, the thing that defined me.
Something interesting happened in that crucial time. When I needed it most, the universe gave me a sign to start prioritizing myself and hinted at a life far greater than my wildest dreams.
After physically running into her on the street, I attended my mentor Gabrielle Bernstein’s Masterclass and made my first investment in a coach. I gained clarity on where I wanted to go with my career and the things that lit me up again. There was a lot of fear even in that process but I learned to quiet my inner critic and tap into the courage of my inner leader.
I threw myself into training with Co-Active, one of the oldest and trusted models in executive coaching. Going through the process my focus became much clearer, I felt for the first time in a long time "This is exactly where I’m supposed to be". When I started to actively and consciously focus on myself, opportunities continued to present themselves. Those opportunities guided me to help others manage and maximize their lives, just like I had done for myself when I needed direction.
Does my past sound like your present? The time for change is now. As I mentioned, everyone is where they are meant to be, especially you landing on my page.
